Hello! My name is Judy although I have several nicknames like Jude, Juno, Judithy, Fruity, - even “Scrambled eggs” and “Toad”.
I am an Orange County native. As long as I can remember, I have had so much love for all kinds of creatures. From the woodland and jungle inhabitants, to the beings in the ocean, the insects, especially dinosaurs! I admire and appreciate their purpose. I feel strongly that one of the most important parts of a person’s life is their relationship with animals. This isn’t a basic connection. Our pets have depth and complexity yet such simplicity that teach us sacrifice and patience and love. I made a decision when I was a young girl to nurture and protect animals for as long as I can. I developed my “patient advocate” and nursing skills at college and received a certificate of completion in the veterinary technician program.
I have been working in the veterinary field since 2002 and held many positions. My capacity is not full however, and I have discovered a wonderful niche working with Dr. Silvia. It is my pleasure to help keep pets healthy one home at a time.
*Regretfully we have to inform our clients and anyone who knew her that our sweet Judy passed away on April 25th. Although she is no longer physically with us she lives on in our hearts forever.
Ever since Marina can remember animals have been her passion. She has worked with and cared for a wide variety of animals throughout her life and career as a veterinary assistant. From peacocks, potbelly pigs, and rabbits to horses, cats and dogs, she loves them all. She recently moved back to Orange County where she grew up, after spending several years on the central coast. While attending school in Monterey California, Marina had the opportunity to complete clinal hours at the SPCA Wildlife Center, which provided her the amazing experience of working with birds of prey, and many other magnificent wild creatures. Marina also has a deep love and appreciation for the outdoors. She enjoys backpacking, camping, reading and gardening. On the weekends she usually hits the trails with her pups or her horse. Marina's little critter family includes her three dogs, horse, cat and African Senegal parrot. She hopes her love for animals and nature will cultivate a more compassionate world for all creatures, where all animals are treated with compassion and respect.
Hi there, my name is Colleen and I would love to tell you a little bit about myself. I was born and raised in Southern California in the beautiful OC. I started to take an interest in animals at a very young age and I knew someday I'd be working with them. Look at me now... my dream has come true! I am so thankful that I grew up with a family that has the same passion as I do for animals. I grew up riding and working with horses, I'm thankful to have a aunt that is in the equestrian sport. Now I am enjoying working full time as a assistant horse trainer in Coto de Caza, CA. I am teaching little kids to ride, love, and respect these wonderful large creatures. In my spare time I am enjoying working for Dr. Silvia's Mobile Vet Clinic. I love learning more and more and every call is an adventure to see what little furball we get to meet and help next!
